About The Church
St Ignatius Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Congregation affiliate with the Archdiocese of Malankara Syrian Orthodox Church, United Kingdom which is an integral part of Universal Syrian Orthodox Church with The Patriarch of Antioch and All the East: H.H. Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, adorning the throne of St Peter, as its supreme head.

Majority of the members of our Church are migrant Christians' with their roots in Kerala state of India, following the traditions and faith of Malankara Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church in Kerala. The regional head of the Church in India is the Catholicos, ordained by and accountable to the Patriarch of Antioch. The faith, traditions, customs and rituals of Malankara Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Church are of the Universal Syrian Orthodox Church, although the former use ‘Malayalam’ as the prominent language for lithurgy and hymns.

Church Opening Day
''11 Feb 2023''
On Saturday, February 11, 2023, we began celebrating the Holy Qurbana with the presense of Rev. Fr. Abin, Secretary of the JSOC council in the United Kingdom, Fr. Stephen - Vicar of Corpus Christy Catholic Church, and Fr Nidhin Kuriakose - Vicar of JSOC Coventry, together with other good people from the neighboring parishes.
